Cosmetic tattooing is the way of implanting pigment with a needling device within the upper dermal layer of the skin to create a long lasting make up effect.
Every treatment is subject to two sessions, the first session entails filling out a compulsory medical consent form to ensure the person is eligible for the treatment, a consultation and treatment plan is devised in which the client has the opportunity to discuss the desired result they would like, we then move on to the drawing up of the brow and then onto the tattooing, this roughly takes around 1 hour and 45 minutes, but can vary for each client.
The second part of the treatment is the 4-6 week top up session, this part of the procedure is to ensure the long lasting effect of the cosmetic make up, building and layering of pigment in the upper dermal layer of the skin and to check for any patchiness from the ‘scabbing process’. Top ups may be desired before the advised annual date subject to the client and how they feel in relation to the pigment retention, in other cases it may be because the person would like to modify the brows shape or colour.
There is no definitive guarantee on the length of time given before significant fading can occur, factors which may lead to the accelerated decrease in pigment retention are, prolonged sunlight exposure which include sun beds, aggressive facial treatments such as chemical peels, micro-dermabrasion or any facials of a similar description, excessive sweating, or skin types of an oily texture.
The most popular permanent aesthetic treatment is the eyebrow procedure. There are various techniques with this treatment that can give a different finishing result. The natural hair stroke technique is created using a fine needle and carried out by executing a line motion which give the illusion of a single hair. Another technique is the shadow brow, this contemporary style brow is favourable with younger clientele as it gives the appearance of a fuller and more defined brow, similar to the look of HD Brows.
Both techniques give fantastic results and it is more of a personal choice along with the technicians advise on which is believed to be more suited on an an individual client basis. Other treatments offered include the lash enhancement treatment which can be built up to create a soft winged eyeliner.
Contoured lips help to emphasise and define the feature and is the perfect treatment for ageing lips that are losing the colour in the vermillion border and to give the illusion of bigger lips without using fillers or implants. The aim of the results of these treatments are to give definition to the feature yet still look natural.

We allow 1 and a half hours for the initial appointment, the tattooing part of the procedure lasts roughly 45 minutes.
We do not offer microblading. The difference between microblading and cosmetics tattooing ( semi permanent make up ) is the way in which it is implanted into the skin. Microblading is a hand tool similar to a small knife which the technician uses to cut the skin and rub the ink in, this is the oldest method of implanting pigment. We use a machine or device with an electrical current which looks similar to a pen, which vibrates and implants the pigment consistently using the pressure of the machine.
Client must avoid intense gym sessions for roughly one week, due to the production of salt produced in the skin which will work against the healing process. We also advise clients to avoid putting anything on their brows for roughly one week and avoid picking the dead skin from their brows. There will be a period roughly day 3-8 where the brows will crisp up and scab like a normal wound. So book your treatment when you do not have a special occasion for at least 2 weeks post treatment.
We advise clients to book there brow, lip or eyeliner procedure at east 2 months prior to a holiday, or 1 month post a holiday. The client will need to allow time for the brows to heal and also to have their top up session to be performed and given time to heal.
We offer complimentary top up sessions 4 - 8 weeks after their initial treatment. We also offer top ups throughout the year which vary in price depending on how long it has been left since your last session.
Our consultations are performed the same day as the treatment. We go through a medical history, client consent form, treatment plan and then discuss the clients natural brows and desired look. We can look at photos of the techniques we can offer, before then going on to draw up the brows and carry out the treatment.
We match up colours to our clients eyebrows to create a look that is natural and as close to their natural brow hair as possible. We use the renowned natural pigment brand 'Permablend' by Tina Davies which come in a variety of colours from greys, to soft blondes and ebony browns.
We can either send out a patch test to our clients or clients can come in and have a patch test to help reduce any worries of reacting to the inks we use. Clients will need to allow 24 hours between patch testing and their procedure time. Please understand that patch testing can only give a reading for the past 24 hours, it is inaccurate in showing whether you may have an allergy in the future.
No, please keep all your natural brow hair as the technician will tidy up your brows before tattooing. The more natural brow hair you have, the more that the tattoo will blend.
