Platelet Rich Plasma (PRP) is a natural treatment that uses your bodies own growth factors in order for the skin to repair and rejuvenate itself. PRP therapy can be used for skin rejuvenation, acne, pigmentation, wrinkles, scars, sagging skin stretch marks and hair regrowth.
This treatment is administered via either a superficial injection technique or via Micro-needling , also known as the ‘Vampire Facial’ . Before each treatment a numbing agent will be applied to the skin for comfort during this treatment.
Upon your arrival, we collect one tube of blood and spin it down to obtain the PRP, after we prepare the PRP for injections, preparation and numbing clean will be applied to the chosen area . PRP will then be administrated via injection techniques or Microneedling.

We suggest doing 2-3 sessions depending on the chosen treatment.
It can be slightly uncomfortable, especially around the mouth area as there are more nerve endings, however a topical numbing cream will be applied before the treatment.
Directly after the injections, the skin will be puffy and swollen due to the amount of fluid that is injected. Several hours after the injections, it begins to go down as your body resorbs the fluid. Bruising can last up to a week so we do suggest planning accordingly. We send patients home with camouflage makeup that won’t irritate the skin but will help hide any small bruises.
